The Business Times reports today that apart from Optima being flipped, units at sold out 8@Woodleigh were being offered on the subsale market.
Analysts say this is not as feverish as that of 2007.

Hundreds of property buyers turned up yesterday (Thursday) evening, a day before the opening of the Optima showflat, giving developer TID no choice but to open its doors for them and start something really out of the ordinary - property balloting. Kiasu Singaporeans are rearing their heads in this property frenzy. Apparently, even before the showflat at Optima has opened, buyers and agents were seen queuing outside with blank cheques eager to stake a claim for the condo project located right beside Tanah Merah MRT. TID, the developer, had to disperse the crowd, saying that they won't sell anything until Friday. » Read more
