Tragedy strikes at Punggol Vista
A crane's horizontal boom toppled, killing one and injuring three other workers at the Punggol Vista BTO worksite yesterday.Residents who were in the vicinity at around 6pm yesterday heard a loud crashing noise, and then saw the fire brigade and ambulances inside the compound soon after. Work on the project has since been at a standstill, likely for investigations to be carried out. According to Channelnewsasia.com, Kay Lim Construction has been told to stop work by the Ministry of Manpower.
