Oooh finally! The Estuary at Yishun is ready to preview! MCL Land's
99-year leasehold condo at Yishun will be 2010's first true blue mass
market condo. One big question - are the mass market buyers still
around or will this year be dominated only by high-end condos buyers?
We can't wait to find out!The District 27, 608-unit condo will have a good mix of unit types in a total of 7 blocks from 15 to 17 storeys high.
As we've mentioned in our previous Condo Watch: 2010 article, The Estuary was bought at a record price by MCL Land back in 2007.
A lack of brand new condos in Yishun, close proximity to MRT and a beautiful reservoir view will ensure significant interest from potential buyers. But will they balk at the price which is rumored to be around $830 - $900 psf?
Prices of District 27 condos are going for around $550-$700 psf. The closest development to The Estuary is the executive condo Lilydale (99yr), which transacted at an avg of $517 psf from Nov-Dec 2009.
