Selling condos in a carpark
A group of agents from Huttons have been marketing a condo in a public carpark along East Coast Road. The condo is 5 minutes away and it does look like a interesting tactic. They've set up some pull-up banners and distributed flyers.No one seems to have complained and the director has said, "We're very careful not to disturb the people or harass them. We've done this before and we've not received any complaints from them or the authorities." However, the agents have been booked twice.
Apparently, the condo being marketed is a Siglap V, a freehold 114-unit boutique condo located opposite Siglap Centre. Prices start from $600k for a 300 sqft studio. That works out to almost $2,000 psf for the tiny unit.
