Heartland Bunnies - How a Property Deal Goes Bad - Pt 1

<<Previous | Next>>

After reading the article about Singaporeans complaining about bad service from agents, I can't help but think that there is probably more to the story.

Agents have to make a living, they'll expend time and resources on clients and cases that are more likely to close; buyers on the other hand can have to be picky - after all they are spending the bulk of their savings. I figure its usually the exceptional horrific cases that make the news.

I for one favour regulation, not as a means to keep tabs on agents, but to weed out the amateur part-time agents who don't take the industry seriously. I think it will work out for the serious hard-working agents, there will be more cases and clients to go round.

So anyone one have buyer/agent horror stories to share? Tell it here.
