Buangkok Executive Condo site gets highest ever bid
We were spot on when we said that this executive condo site would be hot when the tender was launched. 11 bids later - Frasers Centrepoint and Lum Chang Building Contractors seem to have won out with an all-time high bid (for ECs) of $193m or $315psf.So what does this mean? CBRE estimates that this would mean about $650 - $680 psf per unit, making a 1,200 sqft unit cost about $800k. Location wise, the site is excellent, right next to Buangkok MRT, one stop from Compassvale Mall and a mini-central across the road; that's why we're predicting a higher price - the low $700s psf.
People at The Quartz probably won't be so thrilled, they will get their nice view blocked.
