Boon Lay Grove and Floral Spring@Yishun launched
Boon Lay Grove is located along Boon Lay Avenue and is actually located just beside Boon Lay Meadows that was launched earlier last year in November. It more or less has similar advantages with Boon Lay Meadows although slightly further away from the town centre. In total there are 300 4rms and 150 5rms to go around.
The site layout is so-so and some lucky units though will have the advantage of an "unblocked" view northwards. North-western units overlooking the school is also decent. But Boon Lay Meadows residents who took the gamble and picked unit facing north-east earlier will now learn as we predicted they will be face-to-face with Boon Lay Grove.
From our Boon Lay Meadows Review, November 2009:
"The blocks go up 16 floors - as do the high rise residential blocks on the south-western side. We expect similarly high residential blocks to rise up on the north-eastern side as well"
The prices for Boon Lay Grove:
Artist impression of Flora Spring@Yishun:
We will be frank, Flora Spring@Yishun didn't impress us. It is pretty far from the MRT and being sandwiched on all sides, it probably won't have a view to boast about (it only goes up 13 floors). It offers 96 units of studios, 264 4rm flats and 240 5rm flats.
Well...like we told you...it is surrounded on all sides and the only flora you will probably get is the one in the courtyard. Most of the units aren't even facing in the direction of Yishun's famous greenery view. Sorry, but probably no reservoir view for you sir.
Prices for Floral Spring@Yishun:
Hmmm. Even with lower prices we are not sure if we would go for those flats unless we have a darned good reason to stay in that estate.
Penny for your thoughts here.
